Agreement
By installing or using Arbling you agree to these terms. The service is provided to help you make your catalog visible to and usable by AI shopping agents.
Subscriptions & billing
Stores that install Arbling from the Shopify App Store are billed through Shopify Billing. Businesses that sign up on arbling.com pay through Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. If you pay by card, you can cancel your subscription yourself under Billing in your account settings (“Manage subscription”); the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you subscribed through Shopify, manage or cancel the subscription in your Shopify admin. To change your plan, contact support.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of your catalog data and for approving facts before they are published. Don't use the service to publish misleading or non-compliant claims.
Storefront measurement
If you choose to rely on your store's own privacy notice and opt-out instead of a consent tool or Shopify Customer Privacy, you confirm that your store's visitors are located only in Canada (including Quebec) and the United States. This option is not available to stores that serve visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland; those stores must use a consent tool or Shopify Customer Privacy.
AI-arrival offers, adapted prices and wholesale quotes
- What Arbling provides. Tools that show extra product information to visitors sent by AI assistants, offer adapted prices within rules the merchant sets, and answer wholesale quote requests, from people or AI agents, with offers built from the merchant's own price tiers.
- The merchant decides. The merchant turns each feature on or off, and sets the maximum discount, the floor price, the eligible products, the time windows and the wholesale tiers. Without a floor price, adapted prices stay off.
- The merchant is the seller. Every price and every quote is the merchant's offer to its buyer. The merchant stays responsible for its prices, taxes, stock and fulfilment.
- Disclosure. When adapted prices are on, Arbling shows the labels in §1 next to each adapted price, for every market the merchant sells to. The merchant must not remove or hide them. The merchant tells Arbling which markets it sells to and keeps that setting accurate.
- Price limits. An adapted consumer price is never above the list price and never below the floor. It is issued only as a single-use discount code bound to one visit and one product, and it expires after 30 minutes.
- No sensitive data. Arbling's pricing never uses personal or sensitive data as described in C-1. The merchant must not feed such data into the rules.
- Records. Arbling keeps a log of every adapted price and every quote, with the rule that produced it, for the merchant's review. It holds no personal profile.
- Wholesale quotes. A quote is valid until its stated expiry, 24 hours by default, and becomes a binding order only when the buyer completes checkout. Quotes are for business buyers, so the New York label does not apply to them. The merchant confirms its tiers are lawful for its markets.
- Measurement. Some visits are held out at random to measure the effect honestly. Held-out visits see the store as usual.
- Stopping. The merchant can switch any feature off at any time; offers already issued expire on their own terms. Arbling can switch features off to protect shoppers or comply with law.
- Compliance. Arbling designs the labels to meet the laws named in §1. The merchant remains responsible for compliance in its own markets and may ask Arbling to switch prices off in any market.
§1 Price labels
- L-NY · Stores that sell to New York consumers, next to every adapted price
THIS PRICE WAS SET BY AN ALGORITHM USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA - L-EU · Stores that sell to EU consumers, next to every adapted price, before purchase
Personalised price: this price was set for this visit by automated decision-making. - L-EU-PRIOR · EU stores, when the adapted price is shown as a reduction
Lowest price in the last 30 days: {price} - L-DEFAULT · Every other store, next to every adapted price

How this price was set
Rules for the labels:
- A store that sells to several markets shows every label those markets require. The engine never shows fewer.
- The label sits next to the price, in the same visual weight as the price text, and is never collapsed or hidden behind a tooltip.
- An adapted price is only ever lower than the store's list price, and never below the store's own floor.
- If a required label cannot be shown, the adapted price is not shown at all.
